Collaborations & Special Events
Inspired Ideas has always felt like a work in progress for me. Initially my hope was to provide others with ideas, resources, events and workshops that would lead them toward a heightened awareness of self… a journey of self discovery if you will. This vision still holds true. The special events and workshops that I continue to create are a by-product of my intention to live in the here and now. What is calling to me? What feels right.
Prior to starting Inspired Ideas and moving to Cape Cod, I spent the last twenty years creating an amazing life in a beautiful community located in western New Jersey. I spent a lot of time entertaining in my home. I recalled recently all of the delicious meals, beautiful table settings and life changing conversations that I was fortunate enough to create and experience over the years. Recently I hosted a workshop at my home and it brought me back to those days. I remembered how I loved creating beautiful settings that allowed people to feel safe. This really stood out for me and reminded me that this is something that I do well. In addition, I was a travel agent for almost thirty years. Planning special experiences for people is what I love to do.
So Inspired Ideas is quietly evolving and expanding out in a number of directions that I feel very good about. Special events and workshops feels like a very big piece of this expansion, so I welcome you to explore the different events that are posted thus far. I encourage you to continue to check the site for new additions. When I think of what things have inspired me the most over the years, I have to say that a trip that I took to France with my co-workers in my twenties really had to top the list. Even though I have traveled back many times, this trip was quite the awakening for me. I have posted a picture that I recently found of me being inspired at a young age by one of my most favorite foods, French bread. So indulge me if you will as I take a walk down memory lane. I intend to use this page to create a collage of each of the events moving forward. I hope you are inspired as much as I am!
