Inspired Ideas

"Most profound...was discovering that the anchor she had been clinging to so tightly also yielded the rope that bound her feet to the floor. In what appeared to be a desperate loss of security....the cord was cut revealing her defining truth. She had wings...and was always intended to fly...

Rhythms of the Moon

Rhythms of the Moon is sourced from 2012 and the Galactic Center by Christine R. Page, M.D.

New Moon Phase up to 3 1/2  days after the New Moon.   Impulse: to germinate and emerge.  Action: this is a time to plant new seeds of inspiration.  Even though the final manifestation of the seeds may be unclear, there will be an instinctual urge to encourage these ideas so that they can see the light of day.

Crescent Moon Phase: 3 1/2 days to 7 days after the New Moon.  Impulse: to move forward through the focus.   Action: as the desire to emerge into the light continues, there is often an opposing force within that seeks security and the comfort of the known.  Through focused attention we come to recognize that any struggles, whether internal or external are merely the means of strengthening our spiritual resolve.

First Quarter Phase up to  7-10 1/2 days after the New Moon.  Impulse: to build and decide.  Action: now there is a strong determination to define our goals and see self-individuation, causing old patterns of fear, denial, and limitation to rise up and be acknowledged so that important choices can be made for the future.

Gibbous Moon Phase up to 10 1/2 – 14 days after the New Moon.  Impulse: to improve and perfect.  Action: This is a time for self reflection and evaluation that allows us to refine and produce the perfect bloom.  It is inevitable that self-doubt and self-criticism will also arise, but with objectivity this should only enhance the end result.

Full Moon Phase 15-18 1/2 days after the New Moon  Impulse: to seek integration consciously and achieve fullfillment.  Action: This is a moment for celebration, allowing all to see the full bloom of success.  Yet the festivities may be delayed if we continue to seek the perfect relationship, result, or effect without realizing that everything exists perfectly within.  The full moon allows us to be seen in our true light.

Disseminating Gibbous Moon Phase 3 1/2 – 7days after the Full Moon.  Impulse: to distribute and convey.  Action: Now we are given the opportunity to share our experiences with others, allowing what was relatively external to become embodied in reality. Now we must walk or talk and realize there is a fundamental difference between success and fulfillment.

Last or Third Quarter Moon Phase 7-10 1/2 days after the Full Moon.  Impulse: to revise and reevaluate.  Action: This is one of the most difficult phases: We are asked to ferment in the deeper and darker energies that surround our creations. Shame, fears, and old beliefs come to the surface to be honored and assessed along with redundant masks and veils.  This is a time to absorb the essence of our experiences and let go of our story.  This is not a good time to start something new.

Balsamic Moon Phase 10 1/2 days after the Full Moon and until the New Moon.  Impulse: to distill and transform.  Action: As the final phase of this cycle comes to a close, the essence of experience is offered back to the Great Mother and it is time to rest.  This phase is often an inward process associated with mystical experience, healing, and transformation.

“Each of us is born within a particular phase of the moon, specified as the relationship between our natal sun and moon.  This can be located within each person’s astrological chart and reveals the particular emphasis  of the spiritual journey in life.
